TRIAX CVT ATF Full Synthetic

The 2013 Altima CVT's are known to be junk. I wanted to get rid of or improve the occasional shudder so I tried this after reading reviews. It didn't completely cure it but it was vastly improved. Time will tell how it holds up long term. I love the idea of US made fluids and the spill proof 5 quart bottle, so I'll be a return customer.

Replaced OEM Honda CVT oil with this. Its as if there is no transmission at all its so smooth.

Used to flush and fill a transmission on a 2016 Toyota Highlander Limited. Works perfectly, has the required WS rating and was cheaper than the Toyota brand.

Used it in 3 cars, two Honda and a Subaru Outback. No different than the OEM fluid which is three times the price. Good deal.

My company is a TRIAX distributor. We sell this product to 27 Subaru dealerships. Have been doing it for 3 years. They pretty much stopped using the OEM stuff or anything else. Excellent quality, customers don’t come back with issues.

So I ordered this CVT fluid to service several CVT transmissions on older and newer cars. A couple were overdue for this service. So far this fluid seems to work perfectly fine in everything and quieted down and smoothed out one CVT that was quite overdue for new fluid. Seems to be a high quality product for a reasonable price, purchased directly from Triax in my case. I have previously used overpriced OEM and Amsoil fluids in CVTs, which also worked well (for more $). We will see how it holds up. More affordable to replace more often is a plus for me.

As a mechanical engineer, I appreciate the meticulous formulation that optimizes friction characteristics. After using it for a month, I noticed a reduction in operating temperatures and improved wear protection. The viscosity index is impressive, maintaining performance in varying temperatures. While it’s slightly pricier than some competitors, the quality justifies the cost. A worthy investment for anyone serious about maintaining their CVT

No special Toyota oil needed, this works great.
